Jason since I will be feeding a large group of unprepared family members if TSHTF I am buying bulk. I would however consider getting a few of these for my Daughters emergency kits.

The plan is for them to come to us if anything big ever goes down. That might not always be possible for a few days especially if its weather related. The last icestorm we had blocked some roads for almost a week.
These meals look like a good bet for a small kit I am putting together for them.

I am not.

Not at all!

But I DO live in earthquake dangerous California - and as such, have a few things put away due to that - and while I am FAR from a doom and gloomer, I DO see the POSSIBLITY of food shortages due to environmental, economic or geo-political situations. So I have some put away.....just as a precaution!

And, as my wife said, they have a shelf-life of 40 years so, when we get really really old (March :D) if we haven't used them by then, we can eat them!
